Liposuction is a cosmetic surgery procedure to remove fat from under the skin. Liposuction is a technique that involves making a small incision and inserting a hollow tube known as a cannula into the incision in the skin; this is called the access, which fatty deposits are sucked out of the body by suction or vacuum. There is a number of different liposuction techniques used, the most popular procedures are tumescent liposuction, ultrasound assisted liposuction, and laser-assisted liposuction. The type of technique is determined by the amount of fat that needs to be removed, and where on the body the fatty deposits have accumulated. A consultation should leave no stone unturned, a full explanation before, during, and after care service of the procedure. The consultant will discuss all concerns, and answer all questions relevant to the procedure, and will show you pictures before and after surgery of clients that have had the operation and are well on their way to recovery.
