Adolescence is a growing up period of mental and physical human development, which accurs between puberty and maturity. An Adolescence age is between 13 and 19 years. Puberty is associated with young girls and boys in adolescence development. Hormones shifts are responsible for puberty, and puberty starts earlier for girls than boys. Hormonal changes in the human body shift during puberty, the shift in the hypothalamus and pituitary gland that stimulates the ovaries in girls and testicles in boys. Puberty is a transition from children to reproductive maturity, Puberty growth rate is rapid, experiencing growth spurts by 12 inches, and gains weight by 20 to 30lbs. During puberty all parts of the human body does not grow at the same time, the hands and feet seem to grow before the legs and arms. During Puberty everyone experiences different stages and development of growth.
