If you are looking to spend your get away at some quiet and serene place, a hill station would be your plausible choice. India offers numerable choices of hill stations for there are number of mountain ranges, the himalayas, the aravallis, the vindhya and eastern and western ghats are to name a few. Nevertheless, northern and north eastern regions are snow clad and therefore are the best place to experience heights with snow and beautiful scenic views. Nainital, Dehradun, Shimla, Kullu, Manali are the most famous hill stations in north India. Chamundi, Ooty, Kodaikanal and Yercaud are best in the South India. You may add any hill station if i have missed out any.
